BlackKnight (when built correctly) is quite fast and very high pinpoint laser alpha. No jump jets.
Grasshopper can perform a similar role, with an added jump jet or two.
For long range ballistics Jager (esp DD) is still quite good.
If you are willing to spend real cash the BlackWidow Warhammer is exceptional.
For clan mechs, look at the Hellbringer, Ebon Jag and Timberwolf. Ebon can carry the most weapons, hellbringer has ecm and the timberwolf is the most versatile.
For mediums look at Hunchbacks (clan as well), shadowhawks, shadowcats.

Are any Reason known, i should not buy the Warhammer-Bundle + HeroMech?
No, they are all pretty decent (so no throw-away mech in the bundle).
Mech has a great mix of tonnage, hardpoint locations and hitboxes.
PGI just nerfed it twice (upscaling the model and nerfing the agility quirks) and it's still the best heavy in the game.
You can roll a std300 but it really shines with high firepower + xl engines.
Also, just look at them, how could you possible not want them?

The warhammer bundle with hero is one of the best deals right now.
Blackwidow is one of the best hero mechs in the game and as Toha stated every warhammer is quite good.

Whenever a WHM-BW is spotted, my KDK-3 will alpha and double tap then go back into cover. It's the only heavy mech that I give some respect.
