Or, are you saying that the people who play on event weekends because they offer more rewards are scrubs? I like to play on event weekends when i can because they pay more, and I only have limited time to play
Am I a scrub for this?
Where's my dislike button?

One side of me so wants this game to die because of people like the op. It will to with the same idiot wanting to roll quickplay into faction warfare. Our money isn't as good as theirs.

*I* want to roll quick play into faction warfare. You might be talking about someone else' idea, but in my mind - I see no reason that quick battles couldn't take place within the Faction Warfare system and have an impact upon the planets, without making any real changes to how quickplay behaves.
But that's a different topic. As for event weekends bringing out the "scrubs" - let's be honest here: 99% of us are already scrubs.

I love events. Use them to farm ragequits.

Not necessarily. But there are a lot of very bad players on weekends, and "directed" events like FP or "Run Light Mechs" takes people who can't hit the broadside of an Awesome at point blank range and puts them in fast herky-jerky mechs.
Those are what he means by "scrubs". If you can't hit the broadside of an Awesome at point blank, then that speaks for itself. If you can, then you are spared being Formula 409.

5 lights? Hell, I had a match with 11 lights and a viper on my team, LMAO. The other team had plenty of heavies.....
Oh well, I will take the scrubs on weekends. The larger the player base, the more fun the game is. I play during the week mostly, so maybe I am not one of the scrubs. Maybe I am, who knows. Probly depends on who you ask.

Not only do we have the usual weekend warriors (who I don't mind btw. They should have their fun and I am no pro either) around but...
also the peeps who yell all the time "lights are op. Nerf!1!!!!1" who are forced to play now light mechs during this even. These learn the hard way in what sorry state this mech class is and lolalphaing their way to highscores won't work.
Add to this lovely mix some pathetic beings who need to run streak crows etc to compensate their lack of self-esteem by playing god-mode for a weekend. But hey, a weapon system which hardcounters a whole class is classy PGI quality work
