10 seconds is NOT enough time to return to the battle. It simply is not. I may be in a kodiak moving nearly 70kph but, 10 seconds isnt enough time. The timer needs to be extended or the game needs to recognize that a battlemech is ACTIVELY returning to the map and not proceed to blow you to bits and then get punished by the system for it not being able to tell between a pilot running off map to die and one trying to go around a pier because the mech cant climb up the stupid thing.

Yeah, seen where one map spawns you outside the line occasionally.... and seen guys die before they could even build enough steam up to get inside.

Perhaps, just a suggestion, make it so that the timer does not countdown until the first damage in the game. (Kinda like in the tournament, you can reset until the first damage)
You will still need to show the out-of-bound warning and the timer, just the count does not move until the first damange. Maybe even text showing why the count has not started.
