Hey folks. I think I understand how decal purchase works, but someone please confirm for me. I'd really love to slap a Draconis Combine insignia on all my 'mechs but... 500 MC per decal? One decal per 'mech? 46 'mechs? That's... 23,000 MC? Price of MC... $99.95? For decals.

So now that I've said that, let me just make sure I am right about how decals work. Because the only way I can justify a 500 MC decal is if it unlocks that decal for my entire account much like purchasing a color. Decals don't work that way, right? I have to buy the decal again each time I put it on a 'mech?

And you can put that single decal up to six times on a mech just by buying it once.

Well, all my 'mechs are now sporting a Draconis Combine insignia on either side. Thanks for the info everyone. Pretty happy about the way it looks.

and now when it is said forums represent 1% of the games palyerbase, letts think about how many people out thee have the OP's issue.

The game needs a much better visual explanation what player is actually buying for the price. decals being permanent unlocks should be labeled liek this, and probably appear at the MC cost side as:

permanent decal unlock: 500mc
hanging item x1:500
mc: 1000

I have to agree with this 100%. Many purchases aren't very clear. For example, I originally thought that when you bought a War Horn, that version of horn could be mounted in each and every mech you owned. Luckily for me the horns I first got were of secondary concern to me and I was going to purchase the mech packs regardless of the extra so I wasn't too upset when I found I could only mount them in a single mech. Still it did annoy me a bit.
