Funny.
But it's just a fluke of ragdoll physics. Seach the internet and you'll see all kinds of ragdoll shenanigans like that across all kinds of games.

I haven't seen that, but I've seen a Commando do a hilarious breakdance routine after death.

I've seen a Hunchback cartwheel while flying a good 50+ meters when it got killed. Sometimes weird data makes it into the game engine and it just processes it according to instructions. The results can at times be hilarious.

I've seen Atlai do it in the past. Haven't seen anything like it recently though. Everything just seems to slump over nowadays.

I have and so have you. That's the default death fall for ravens from the old days. That and somersaults.

And see those arms? Wish PGI would code it so an arm w/weapons can be raised for a short set to fire them from a more elevated location

I've been saying for a while that I wish their was a button to toggle arm position. Take the Atlas, for example.. low slung arms.. hit a button and they're fully extended out, raising the weapon height but no longer protecting the side torsos and making its side profile easier to hit.. (Like a zombie with arms pointed straight ahead.) Hit the button again and the arms are back to their original position.

I like the idea. I fear it would be a hit-reg/hsr nightmare though.
I do not see that being an issue, since mechs jump and fire their weapons, etc. What it would help would some of those mechs that are just on the cusp of being a preferred mech but most of its weapons are scratching its hairy patch, especially humanoid mechs with tall torsos, or for others to bring that one big gun to bear sooner as it is struggling to move up an incline.
