I am looking for my first clan mech assault and really want one that can do a lot of dakka that i can get for c-bills. Thanks

Kodiak is probably the best Clan Assault with a lot of dakka, but currently it is not available for C-Bills.

So your next choice would be Daishi that lets you do a lot of dakka.

Other Clan Assaults such as Man-o’-War, Masakari or Gladiator etc. are specific and I can't recommend them as 'Mechs with a lot of dakka.

Eh...... The C-bill clan assaults aren't great right now. The Kodiak can just do everything better than everyone, and do it faster. It's the best dakka available. The Dire Wolf is your next best bet for dakka. It basically does larger, and more dakka then the kodiak, but is much slower and is way squishier then you think a 100 tonner should be. The other clan assaults just can't dakka efficiently. Not enough hardpoints or ammo.

Warhawk can dakka. dual 20s or dual 10s + pulselaser.
I would consider it as a fat heavy, tho.

If dakka then follow this:
Kodiak/Dire Wolf > Warhawk > Highlander IIC > Executioner > Gargoyle

If my humble opinion as a clan pilot my suggestions would be the following

Heavy weapons Dakka platforms
Kodiak 3
Dire wolf
Warhawk

Brawling
Kodiak spirit bear
Gargoyle D
Executioner (make sure you grab a variant with masc)

Versatility- can do a lot of things moderately well
Warhawks
Kodiaks
Direwolfd

I'm pretty sure all EXEs have MASC (and can't be removed), so I say, doesn't matter which variant.

Direwolf can do 6 UAC5 or 4 UAC10 (but need to fire 2x2 instead of all 4 or ghost heat). It's currently available for c-bucks.

Think The B33F is the best spokesman for the Dire Wolf, almost got one myself after watching this


The Warhawk isn't far behind in fun factor


My personal favorite is the Kodiak


The Executioner and Gargoyle operate more like big heavies and from what I have seen, you need to be real creative with your builds.
