First, let me say thank you for the challenge! We appreciate any events you throw our way. With that said, allow me to provide some constructive critisism.

Please, PGI consider making the scoring for the next light mech challenge for roles the light mechs are intended to fill. This damage scoring is really more of a heavy/assault challenge. A good light mech is a scout and plays mop-up for assaults. Right now the scoring rewards those who try to maximize damage, engage early, and uses a non-team friendly play-style. Furthermore it results in a bunch of light mechs loaded out for optimal damage. Not even necessarily optimal kills, just lots of damage spread and component destruction, which is quite sad.

It does make it harder, because if you weren't farming components and trying to get KMDD;s like it is a job you wont place very high on leaderboards.

Causes a gaming or faming of the score system which PGI claims isnt what they want you to do here in these challenges.

I understand "gaming" the matchmaking system, but how can you not do that for "event conditions"? Does this mean purposefully targeting components is "gaming the event conditions"? That would be like telling someone "play monopoly, but don't use the rules to your advantage and try to bankrupt the other players by buying the best real-estate." Furthermore, how can you judge intent?

Again, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the content, it's been a lot of fun, though my wife is giving me dirty looks for playing so much :)
