the bad players have always been there, but they used to get their own limbo hell at the bottom of the barrel.

but matchmaker have been f**king up recently, simply throwing people into games with the idea that 1 Tier 1 and 11 Tier 5s on each side is a "balanced" match. that why's you suddenly notice the terribads.

it's also why search times are RIDICULOUSLY low now. I rather go back to the days where I had to alt-tab out and do other stuff for 5 minutes before getting a game. at least you get somewhat coherent games

I don't know, I like insta queue, yes the overal quality of matches might have dropped, but not that drastically and the wait times are on par with games that have literally more than 100X the population

Yep, which is why I think tiers themselves need soft reset every three months or so. That way bads will less likely get into T1, and I can enjoy again challenging matches in T1 where it was "meta mechs or GTFO".

MWO is where retired raid guild leaders come to keep killing pixels when they can't keep up anymore.

EQ2 - Vindicate
VG - Divinus
Rift - Avid
Tera - Avid
MWO - Potato

/sigh

What you write doesnt make any sense.

That is supposed to be an answer as to why mechs suicide alone in 1s and 2s into the entire enemy team?

After sitting down and thinking about the question this is what you came up with?

Disappointing.....

Don't ask questions if the only answer you're willing to accept is the one you come up with.

Mechs suiciding into enemy team in ones or twos can be attributed to one or more of the reasons I included in my post... farming exp on a mech one does not want to play, farming c-bills or even simply executing a plan which seemed good for some reason or another.

My son is 3 and he _really_ want to play the robots game. So yeah, maybe there are a lot of very young players. Even though let them play would tank the accounts stats they would still earn some c-bills.

I think the solution is to penalise very poor play so that doing less than 100* damage gets you no reward at all.

The game shouldn't reward bad play.

*Precise amount to be discussed

So many things to say, analyse and propose solutions to,...

Again,...

So I wont bother and just put an additional question up:
"why does every drop where no direction is called end up with a Counter Clockwise movement?"

Many of the mechs have stronger loadouts in their right arm and torso. In order to bring the weapon to bear effectively means using cover on the left side of the mech while peeking with the right. That started things off. Now, it's merely habit.

You aren't seeing T5 players (unless you can actually match said players up in terrible matches you have to people with a T5 badge next to their name). You are seeing the new players who didn't completely fail in the PSR boost phase of new accounts and thus as a very green player got shoved into T3 and barely saw T5 or T4. And, once you hit T4, well, really T3, you don't go down in PSR you just go up. What is really needed is to go from a weird attempted pyramid set up for the tiers to instead a bell curve where T3 is the mode and not the mean or median for the average. Have hidden ranks within each tier that based on your performance each match you either go up or down in PSR ranking. The exceedingly bad will be off in T5, T4 will be new players, T3 will be the average (which could be actually worse than currently) and then you have T2 and T1 with enough population to have fun together in. The bonus to this I feel would be players actually getting to learn how to play and improve instead of a hellish meat grinder for pilots trying to learn MWO.
