Greetings Mechwarriors. Today I have an amazing idea! A text decal that lets you put in your name, unit name, or a phrase you think is appropriate. Naturally, inappropriate words and phrases would be automatically declined.

Too much moderation work. IMO only pilot and unit names should be enabled since those are being moderated already.

If they are going to implement single-letter decals, swear words won't be moderatable anyway.

Exactly. You'll see mechs with a large letter O on each side torso with smaller letter O's inside... You'll see people spell out all sorts of words one letter at a time...

I wouldn't mind if the "premium" or whatnot decals that will supposedly cost 1250 MC would be... Uhm... "Custom"?
Like a "word of XX length", a "mix of certain decals" (basically allow the player use multiple shapes and geometries of different colours to create a custom decal that would only take up one slot) etc.

Hmmm, I faintly remember a game set in medieval times that had a nice heraldics generator. Something like that would be nice indeed.
