Well I'm gonna have to put down SB after I master its last module slot which should take another 20 matches. WLR and KD been going down and damage numbers just not there. My own kdk 3 meta mech does seem to affect matches quite a bit even at T2.

Thanks for all the help guys. Reaching t1 soon.

I ran this loadout and it works great. I have run out of ammo in a couple of matches so I made the switch to the meta loadout with 2 cspl. It saved my assault a few times.

I was able to break 1000 damage with the 4srm6/lb20x/2cspl combo and I am only a mediocre pilot. You will too, I would bet money on it.

I just wish it has more module slots. In fact, I wish ALL Mechs had more. It kind of ticks me off that the only mech to have an extra Mech slot and three weapons modules slots is the...Locust? So the smallest mech in the game has 3 Mech and 3 weapon module slots. Most only have 2 of each and some like my Stormcrows only had one weapon module slot.

I'm running ADV Target Decay and Target Info Gathering on my ShameBear and I'd like to add ADV Sensor Range but I cannot because a 100-ton assault Mech does not have all of the Module slots that a 20-ton scout has......................And I carry the Clan Probe and a Level 1 Target Computer.

The idea being, get info as soon as possible and keep it as long as possible. I use a Tag in my left arm which is one of the faults of the SB, it only has one energy slot in each arm. Normally I would strip the left arm. I like the TAG because I use LRMs as direct fire and it is needed to kill anything with ECM on.

I'm going to try to Smurfy this...What I dislike about it is if I add just one ER ML, I have to add 4 heat sinks.

Here is the KDK-SB I'm running now. I cannot find the Clan Mk 4 MASC but it goes into the left torso. I use it to close range quickly so I can brawl.

And I decided to add the KDK-1 FlameBear. The KDK-2 due to structure quicks is a better brawler but it does not have as many energy hardpoints and it has one less missile hardpoint.

I still have not done the PVP matches I want to do to test out Flamers. I want someone to flame me with 1 to 6 flamers so I can see how long it takes me to get to 90%. Flamers also have a different heat and cool down system that one day I want to ask about.

My big question is how many Flamers is needed to get an enemy Mech to 90% within 3 seconds. I can use 10 Flamers for 6 seconds before it starts to effect heat. So 4-5 seconds in the magic number. Oddly, if I have 10 Flamers but I only use one, it still only gives me 6 seconds since Flamers are connected to each other as far as heating up and cooling down.

What I do with my FlameCrow is A) Get the enemy hot with 5 flamers. Then KEEP him hot with shots of one Flamer and 3 SPLs, one after another. So I carry 7 Flamers nd 6 SPLs.

My FlameBringer is doing well. It moves fast and has ECM.

I do not understand Smurfy's at times. I'm supposed to have room for another Ton of LBX 20 ammo and it is missing a slot on my Stormcrow.

Don't listen to anyone that tells you that LURMs are good on a SB. Can't convince them otherwise, but they are bad.

Load up the stock build and build from there. Smurfy does not show the MASC in equipment for some reason if it isn't fixed.

Also, I optimized your build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...bc7e6e9aca34886

I would still prefer no backup weapons or just 2 ERML and max heatsinks, but you seem to like having that ERLL.

I would exchange that ERL laser for 2 heatsinks and 2 tons of ammo. You can't win trades with 1 laser and it hurts the alpha due to face time. I've gotten 1300 damage a few times with the SB but it's not great on every map like the KDK-3.

I did mention that, but he had an ERLL in his original build, so I left it as is.

Im not crazy about this build, but I will admit it is some creative thinking as far as the asym arms-ER LL go.

I prefer to have both arms with full (if not near full) armor for maximum shielding in a brawl.

Thanks, I'm addicted to the ER LL, lol.

I have two other Bears where I link two of them to one or two Gauss Rifles. And I took one UAC 10 off of one Dakka Bear and added twin ER LL. Twins are my favorite mode. I have the range modules etc.

I use it here as I have to work to get close enough to brawl. Which is a skill I'm learning to do. I'm also learning to use the MASC to cover ground quicker.

I worked and changed a little on my FlameBear also last night. It has become powerful.

I'm still might give back one Flamer and take away one SPL. I also wonder about armor, since I seem to always be killed from behind when brawling. I've found that I can take on two or more if they are in a line. The ones behind my target cannot hit me because of their guy in the way.

That tiny little bit of gold on my bar is starting to move a tad.......
