to be more serious I dont know when exactly i want the roadmap posted. With that being said, i am not going to be like the OP and start making spurious remarks regarding the state of things or the future becuase they didnt release one on the 1st

You are giving them slack til the day before patch day. With someone that uses your current logic, it would almost be acceptable to have an August roadmap the day before September.

When people ask for a response AND are given the self-imposed deadline (like Paul did for the tournament for guidelines/rules for being recorded for a livecast) and NOT get it at all (which happened in Paul's case - https://www.reddit.c...ability_issues/). This roadmap is best be described as delayed.. and that becomes unacceptable to reasonable people.

well like i said, i already refuted the OP. I think no matter what i type Its not gonna matter to you even if i agree with some of your points, its not good enough.

to address your first response, to me it sounds like you rather play some other game. In that case why are you even posting on the forums to topics which you dont see going anywhere?

I like to give a little wiggle room because the world i live in is not set stone and things happen. Sure do we like them always, no. Do i like delays and when things dont get done? no i dont. Also you completely took what i said an made it sound as if it said the end of the month when I clearly said about the 15-17th. Mid month at least to me would be appropriate.

I dont know what your deal is with deadlines. as far as i can tell they have been hitting their mark on the patches. If your gonna go back years ago, then all bets are off.

This is what bandito said in the beginning of this thread. All this other stuff is irrelevant. Its not a vent thread, the OP made a statement to which he did not have all the knowledge at his disposal and made a premature statement. This thread has been off topic since page three. bandito already as well as I answered the OP's statement, and in no way could you draw conclusions from russ not releasing one soon enough.

I don't remember that they hit their mark on that at all. It got players.. including "silent founders" to get out of the woodwork and comment on it.

Besides.. every monthly patch has had a hotfix. I don't call that a success.

the fact that they got the mini maps wrong is irrelevant from the fact that they had the minimap change in their notes. When i said hitting the mark i meant that what they had in the patch notes was correct. and using the lame line of "deadlines has long been dead" That was in reference to CW coming into the game. Since then they have been road mapping their patches

I care enough about the game to complain.

It's better than being indifferent/apathetic and assuming things will someone get better on their own... because having the game been dealt that way for too long has allowed more dumb stuff to happen.

No... you're not really absorbing the truth of the matter.

Russ's initial plan for those dumb crates were to have them randomly spawning somewhere on the map... for people to collect it and win something when the team won.

Imagine people actually going out of their way to looking for crates instead of scouting/fighting the enemy... that would've been a huge disaster.

If it's not discussed, worse things would've happened.

all i see are roadmaps beginning in janurary 2015

They made these roadmaps specifically because of missed deadlines. So instead of working in the wind, we knew what to expect each month. Everything subject to change though.
