2 things that astounds me reading the comments:
1) That people pretend to know precisely how power draw will work.
2) That the supposed 30 dmg alpha limit will kill heavies and assaults.
The point of power draw is to restrict pinpoint and one button alphas. Like I said above, we know nothing of how exactly the system will work, but Russ said that the meter will cooldown very quickly, so overall DPS will remain about the same, you just need to fire all your weapons at different times.

Stalker would be an obvious choice for your nextt assault. I'm suprised you don't have on already if you like assaults.
As for me I might look into the Banshee.

The only thing assaults had going for them was high point alphas now speed will be even more king than before.
How about we see if I'm right and we come back to this thread when power draw is out?

Gold Direwolf.
They killed my gold dire when they put that plastic collar on it after the rescale and they still have not fixed that blunder.

So Awesome, Battlemaster and Stalker are the tops picks so far.
Other than the unobtanium Gold Direwhale, surprised that there is no mention of clam mechs...

I'm probably going to finally pick up some Maulers. Direwolf is a solid choice.

Ye, because i feel much more comfortable beeing cored coming around the corner by mechs that need to click twice instead of once, because DPS is the same. Sounds like nobody knows anything about that system, absolutely nobody.

We don't even know when it's coming. All I know is it isn't here now so how about let's play the game we have and not worry about the Boogeyman who may or may not exist next year.
