Hi

I'm thinking about buying Awsome 8Q and equip it with ER PPC. Chassis quirks (both velolcity and heat gen.) says "PPC", but when I put ER PPC in the slot it also show those quirks in the weapon's data window. Does this mean "PPC" quirks affects both normal and ER versions, or is it some kind of bug ?

Yes PPC hits both PPC and ERPPC

ERPPC only affects ERPPC.

I am pretty sure the modules only apply to the exact named weapon ^{(if not specified it is the Inner Sphere, not the Clan, version of the weapon)}

Fun fact about checking which quirks apply to your load out:

Go to the mechlab and hover any EQUIPPED weapon on your mech. On the BOTTOM of the pop up window you will a list of all quirks that apply to your equipped weapon.

There's a "std PPC" quirk that exists, and this quirk exclusively applies to regular PPCs. If it is a quirk and it only says "PPC", it works for both.
