I hate the delay, (L) already have the 30% cbill boost they don't need any more exclusivity than that

Last year wasn't so bad because derp variants, but the Summoner and Stalker are definitely more competitive in terms of performance.
Compromise? 3 month delay -> Gift Store, 1 month later, MC, 1 month later c-bills.

Yeah, no one was really drooling over the 1B/1M Nova last year, but an ECM Stalker is potentially a 'go to' mech.

As someone that qualifies for all the IS rewards, I approve. The Cbill bonus & getting them for free is enough for me.

But I really don't want to waste $40 "upgrading" two basic packs with duplicates of Mechs I already own.

I would not be shocked if PGI was out of business before the ECM Stalker hits for c-bills

Yeah as a Stalker player I really want that variant, but $80 USD for 2 of the new mech packs is too much of an ask for me. Especially when the Australian dollar is still really low. Looks like I'm going to miss out this year. Oh well, At least I have a neat Cicada from last year

It is in PGI's economic interest to make the loyalty mechs feel "exclusive" for a long period of time so as to encourage the marks who have already showed a willingness to spend, to spend even more for that sense of exclusivity. Take away that sense of exclusivity, or dramatically shorten the period of time in which it exists, and you reduce the incentive for the marks to spend.

This is my interpretation of the rules, also.
Seems a bit devious, frankly, and not a way to show appreciation to customers.
I bought two packs with Heroes ... but that apparently doesn't earn 'appreciation' cause I didn't waste $40 more on two variants which PGI lazily just duplicated and called 'Collector'.
I don't remember last year's loyalty Mechs being so clearly angled at milking further purchases. It leaves a bad taste.
