Did you seriously reply to a post that was written 10 months ago? Posted Image

Tons of things have changed, such as the inclusion of Escort, and Incursion modes, which skewed map selection.

and in a system with 4 maps to vote the minority always win, the majority didnt want to play the winning map which is dumb. Make it a 2 map choice and you will get majority, until then, voting its just a waste of everyones time. If it wasnt for X farming we would hardly get to play something different than 4 maps. yeah, its a bad system any ways to try to fix it.

Are you saying that the map with the lowest votes is winning? I'm somewhat confused by that.

No, he's saying that the map that wins probably didn't get 50+% of the votes, so wasn't voted in with a majority.

What we need is a lobby system like in faction play. Get to know what map and mode you are dropping in before you select a mech. Then maybe the team can also select a good team composition instead of hoping your mech fits with the rest of the team.
Many matches have been won simply because the other team composition was terrible.

HAhahahaha NO that would be terrible, learn to play your mechs on all maps and modes.

Why would the chance to bring the optimal mech for the map be bad? Why is the chance for a team to select a good team composition in a team based game a bad thing?
It's not like I can't bring the optimal mech for the map and team composition can't already happen. It's just random right now.

Restricting your mechs to only the ones that are good on all maps just reduces mech variety. And considering how often cold sniper maps are selected I guess we should all just leave our brawler mechs in the hangar.

So for the sake of more mech variety and better team play, a lobby system is desired.

There are currently 15 Maps available in QP. How many Mechs would it take to build 1 META build that covers ALL those Maps?
I would guess 8. 1 Brawler (Hot and Cold mode) 1 Medium ranged (Hot and Cold mode) 1 Long Range (Hot and Cold mode) and 1 Mixed (Hot and Cold mode)

So 8 Meta Mechs seen on the same Maps over and over and over and you want variety... ;)

I like voting, but instead of 4 maps they should reduce the number to 2 or 3. That way there is less chance of the most voted on maps showing up all the time.

Time to go to the suggestion forum and say the same thing!

Exactly. You get my point. See how the number has increased from 1 to 8. And with more maps that number could increase. Also take into account that a team consisting of the same mech would be bad and so there would be roles to fill, giving us even more necesary meta mechs.
We just need to get PGI onboard.
