So I already have the Misery, and I've just received word that I'll be getting a customer-appreciated 3Fb (b for special ordered elite guard status, right Kon?Posted Image ). That means I should scoop a third variant before this sale is over.

A quick flip through the interwebs points to the 4N for its LL build. Is that still current? Other opinions?

The 4N is probably the most consistent performer. There's also the 5M, which can be a pretty terrifying splat boat with 5 ASRM6 and medium lasers. I personally prefer the extra flexibility the 3F has, but it's nothing special weapons-wise.

Right.

The 5M is my favorite, because it made the best Flamer Stalker when Flamers were (in my opinion, not everyone else's) "useful." ....As blinders. Pack in a good laser, 4 flamers set to dual-chain fire for eternal blindness and 5 Streak SRM-2 launchers and you had absolute mayhem.

Yeah there are other practical uses for it now, too. But since I have played all the Stalkers and still own most of them, the 'quirks' mean nothing to me because these have always been awesome and I play them my way. So differ to others for the best way to use them by quirks.

The 3H I preferred with larger, heavier weapons. It also had the most missile tubes at the time, making LRMs very popular with it.

The 4N is had been my personal favorite for a while. I'd pack the 2 hardpoint side with SRMs and the 1 hardpoint side with an LRM-20, and arm it with a combination of lasers. Worked on any and every map.

The 3F has the best torso twist, but this is only because PGI decided it should. To be perfectly honest combining the "most" hardpoints with the "best torso twist" is a really stupid decision from a design point of view. Naturally this has been the fan favorite for a long time. I personally didn't care for it as it felt 'generic'. It had no real personality of its own, not like the others.

Beyond that, there is the 5S with its twin AMS. You pack this thing with AMS range and AMS Overdrive and max those modules out, and this thing is your one stop shop for tanky awesomeness.

You already know about the Misery. One of my favorite 'Mechs in MWO. It is a tankier, 85 ton version of the Atlas Boar's Head in terms of loadout and yet it has its own unique personality. I freaking love this thing.

3H, 4N, 5M, 3F, 5S in that order.

The 6LL 4N is a very solid mech which I highly recommend. However, I prefer the 3H as it has many excellent builds. Here are my top 3 (I own 3 3Hs, one for each build). 4ERLL, BAP, CC 4MPL, 4ASRM6 3ERLL, 4ASRM6

I enjoy them all, though currently the Misery is my favorite. I am looking forward to the loyalty stalker though. Whats not to love about an ECM capable Stalker with a solid 6 energy hard points?

Court ordered restraining orders are usually a good idea...

I love my 4N.

I have 4LL, 2 SRM6 artemis and AMS and it kinda rocks.

The laser mounts are in a great place to be able to shoot without exposing yourself much, iut has good range and it's not bad up close and personal either.

(To mention, this shot was taken in late 2014, during combat, and the Jester is on the enemy team, under the cover of Lordred (the Camera Commando)'s ECM, I snuck up on this poor Jester pilot.)
