° Fixed a bug where players would try to cap points before killing enemy team.

I've got enough stuff. I need more content.
(In other words, I probably won't buy any mech packs in the future anyway, unless they offer something completely new, like melee weapons or stealth armour. And even then, I will be hesitant.)

The Rewards program still lists Collector Packs as the requirement.
If PGI came out and said "in the future we'll get rid of Collector pack requirement but this particular year, you are stuck with it" - that's the worst stand they could take.
As for how it impact purchasing decisions - when the rewards first came out, I didn't realize it was just collector packs that qualified. I planned on making the purchases necessary to complete the requirements for all of the rewards. But once I realized it was only collector packs that qualified - and I had no interest in getting the collector packs (and very little interest in buying the packs i would have bought to get the rewards) - that made the decision for me: I'll not worry about the rewards program this year.
I can't speak for my purchasing plans for next year - but the collector pack requirement certainly convinced me to not make purchases I would have otherwise made this year.

If you bought those before October of last year they don't count.
*edit*
If you bought them today it will update your qualified tiers tomorrow.

Last year I bought the top packs during that period. But that means I didn't qualify for this year's loyalty Mechs. And I'm not going to pay $80 for 4 duplicate Mechs that I already got in the other base packs I bought..
So, fine, I won't pre-purchase Mechs until September onwards this year.

If P.G.I make enough mechs I want or like, I'll buy them and I might qualify if I don't I'll feel a bit meh, and look see if there are some I might have and reconsider, if after that I don't I certainly won't be making endless posts about it, but move on.
If something is available to me, if I make certain actions or payments, I'm left a choice, what does get me very angry, is free virtual goods given out for attending conventions that are not available to others.

At least with SWTOR, the cantina codes can be used like referrals, given out up to 10 times.... still best exclusive I ever got from a live event was Murky the pet Murlock in WoW....
