*drools* Big *** AC in arms are what I want the most with mechs. Looks cooler and with some training can wreck fast lights with some aim.
Only the King Crab can do that on the IS side I think... And Im not THAT fan of the KC.

Pray for the Bandersnatch, then. 75 tonner with 2x ML and an LBX-10 in each of it's arm, stock built.

And the real sad part is the MAD-IIC will make a better Warhawk, than the Warhawk....

Sans quirks - the Warhawk is a better quad PPC mech tbh.

I just find it funny, that my prediction about IIC's and the Kodiak are all coming true for the most part, only really the Orion IIC and Highlander IIC are out right worse than the IS versions so far....

Personally, the Orion IIC is a much better ride than its IS counterpart. Can't talk about the Highlander though since it never interested me.

At this point I am ignoring quirks in my design considerations... that will help for the upcoming skill tree changes . If a Mech is Quirked, then I just pretend it's an unexpected boost.

I am running my MadIIC with 3 ERPPCs, a CAP, a small TC, and as many DHS as you can possibly fit. It still runs hot, but man is it fun to use at range.

I don't own the Orion IICs but I actually like my Highlander IICs as much as my Highlanders.

Testing has found 2 dead zones on Marauder 2C hitboxes. Either side of the bubble.

I wouldn't get too excited over the 3 x cuac5 setup OP. I've tried it anyways knowing it won't be great and back it up with more powerful lasers. The IS version is way better, a single bullet per shot. The clan version is multi-shot and with the jammergram chances increased, it just aint worth it.

Hi, can you put by this mech (MAD-IIC-S 'Scorch) in arms AC 20 ?
AC 20 needs 8 slots, does the mech have enough space in arms ?

next

MAD-IIC-A

RIGHT TORSO 3 Ballistic
C-Ultra AC/5 needs 3 slots

So can you in same time have Xl Engine + 3 times the Ultra AC/5 weapon ????

2UAC20+4SRM4 is viable on the scorch. 2UAC20 2SRM6 ECM is another good build for the IIC-D

No you can not install 2xUAC20. (On the A model anyway, or any of the 3 standard models)

You can install 2xUAC10, but not 2xAC10. You can install 3xUAC5 but not 3xAC5.

You can fit 2xLB10X but not 3xLB5X.

With the A model and a standard engine you can install dual gauss, but you're going to be hurting for having much else in the mech.

Depends on the build. The Warhawk has a fair amount of quirks which can give it an edge on certain builds.

I have to admit, I have not been too impressed with my Triple UAC/5 build MAD-IIC. I mean in theory is should be pretty good but in practice something seems lacking about it. Also every match so far as soon as the enemy sees me firing those UACs, they concentrate all their fire there and I have always lost that ST leaving me with just 2 cER MLs which isn't remotely enough firepower to do much than annoy people. I am currently considering removing them in favor of maybe a single Gauss backed up by LPLs in the arms or something.
