Has anyone gotten anything remotely good from a supply cache yet?

I think we should keep track via forum or a Google spreadsheet the loot from each crate, so we could try to estimate the probability to get the good stuff...

Well I have never won a mech through one of those grab bag events despite nearly maxing out my draws. I think I'll pass on a paid grab bag.

A guy I was grouped up with for Invasion, last night, opened two.

He got a large laser and a flamer.

Flamer is 15k (if you were to buy it, selling it is worth half that or 7.5k if you can't math).

Selling the crate is 50k straight up.

You are effectively losing 35k C-bills for 25MC.

That's an epic slot machine.

Myeah, every supply cache (~20) I have opened has been crap. It's either weapons, c-bills or omnipods. One I opened had all good prizes, a mech, premium time, good modules ect. excpect for one, which I naturally got: 10 k c-bill price! Congratulations me!

I have opened 5, everyone of them, Lrm 10, ermed laser, etc....nothing but crap. One of them I spent 25 MC I had left over from events, total waste of time and money. This should not be another money sink in this game, the catches shouldn't require "keys" to open....This should be an extra reward given to players who, you know....play the game, But once again, another money sink

All of my supply crates have been 50k cbills thusfar, barring two: LB20x, cERPPC. I have decided that I will only open a supply crate IF there is a possibility of winning a mech, and then only if it is a mech I want to have. On the upside, as a result of these event awards I am slowly accumulating a set of free supply crate keys.

The two crates above, the potential mechs were: Nova B, Zeus (don't remember variant) - since I only currently own the loyalty reward mechs for those chassis, a free one had appeal.

I do just the same thing. IF I have free keys AND I have crates with chance on a mech. I'll give it a try. Nothing lost and only gains to be made. All the rest I'll sell.

I've opened... maybe 3 or 4 caches? Didn't get anything good. At this point I won't even open one unless there's both a mech and a mech bay as possible prizes.
