Fellow MechWarriors,

It's been awhile since I've posted feedback in the forums since the good-ole beta days being a Founder. I wanted to take a few minutes and throw out an idea to PGI. Regarding the Energy Draw Mechanic, I've never been a fan of instant death (current condition- an Energy Draw Value of -120 or more will result in Suicide).

Instead of instant suicide, how about this as a penalty...

New ‘Reactor Cold Startup’ Condition:
• An Energy Draw Value of -120 or more will result in Mech shutting down for 1 minute (very long duration)

I'm sure we can work this into the lore as the fusion reactor is fail-safe and a significant energy draw from firing too many weapons basically shuts down reactor and requires a cold-startup. Thoughts?

120 draw is 120 damage,
good luck if you think you can fire that much and live,
overheating alone may kill you, before you turn back on,

a with 8ERPPCs 120Draw you will die instantly,
but with 7ERPPCs and over flow heat you will Die after Cooking for 20sec,
its not Pretty, dont do it Kids,
