First apologies in advance if this question has been asked over and over again, I have checked FAQ section but couldn't find an answer and I've been away from MWO for almost a year.

The question is when it comes to buying new mechs is there an option somewhere that I am missing where the purchase doesn't involve using MC?
I have searched a few times on Google but can't find a exact answer as some results say I only need to use C bills. However whenever I go the store in game all the mechs have a MC price on top of the C bills asking price...

Again, apologies if this question always pops up.

The purchases have MC as the default option since close beta. It is going to be changed in tomorrow's today's patch.

Purchasing multiple items through the in-game Store, such as 'Mechs, Consumables, or Supply Cache Keys, will now be simpler through the use of a new Cart system. For items that support both currencies you can toggle which currency you intend to use. Certain items can be purchased in bulk by increasing their Quantity in your Cart.

In addition to the introduction of this Cart, purchasing a 'Mech will now use C-Bills as the default currency in the Purchase Confirmation window, when applicable.

Once an Item has been added to the Cart, a Cart icon will appear on the right side of your screen. Click on this icon to see the current state of your Cart and its items.

After reading your post again, in the current UI, after clicking the "buy" button, this screens appears, giving you the option to buy the mech for MC or C-bills. By default, the MC option is selected, unless you don't have enough MC to buy the mech (like in my screenshot). Or if it's a hero/champion variant, only obtainable with MC.

Thanks Patata, you've opened my eyes lol. Been clicking around and panicking thinking you need to use both currencies haha. Thank you again <3
