Hello PGI it's been a while since I chymed in. I like what has become of the game so far. The mechlab isn't a mess, the game runs smooth, connection times aren't too bad, the steam community isn't all a bunch of *** hats and the new game modes and faction play are pretty fun. I like how many new mechs are out and how the old ones still stack up well against them. You guys are on the right track i think.

I still hope for those missions i've rambled on about in the past with active dropships, firebases, convoy escorts and whatnot but none the less, its definately taken many steps in that direction. I especially like the 4v4 scouting drops in the faction warfare however I have been struggling against every stormcrow mist lynx combo i've come across. Maybe they just have my number and I need to make a dedicated lance just for such drops, but still, quite the challenge to pug in.

I wanted to post something to let you know because in the past I've writen scathing things about the attemps made and how I was disappointed at the time, giving props and koodos as they are well deserved. Thanks PGI for doing what you do. Keep up the good work.

Oh I did want to bring to your attention a slight flaw in faction drops, where I have come across units that like to rush the drop zone and sit on them to decimate whole faction drops before they even exit the dropships. 48-2 just sucks the fun out it in a hurry. Is this an exploit? Can it be addressed somehow? maybe short range dropship weaponry of naval class that can just obliterate anything within 200m and only while mechs are dropping? I don't know if that's practical, but the being one-shotted before I even hear "all systems nominal" and have my feet on the ground is discouraging. Not your fault at all in any way, but you have the power to resolve it somehow I hope.

So, still hoping for fuller missions; I really want to recon a base, protect a few trucks, blast a dropship, the 4v4 lance drops have all this potential if you are interested in taking that route? Please? With sugar coated money on top?
