Excellent, we have some common ground and the basis for a conversation. I'm trying to keep my own ideas grounded in what are realistic, based on what has been acknowledged by PGI/Russ as being at least feasible. This way those changes may actually happen in the short term and hopefully improve things, rather than come up with a grand reworking of the entire FP system.

In doing this I'm also trying inject a little positivity back into the community (and myself) by getting us thinking about constructive ways to help PGI. Oh and I literally just posted a request for an update on the Round Table.

Of course, I suppose it's easier to shout everyone down and create drama than to try and make things better and yes I know a lot has been said before to try and be constructive. I just think it is a better use of energy to try and promote positivity than to promote negativity, even when I'm feeling pretty darn negative myself.

Oh well, if threads about the end of the (FP) world garners more views in a few hours than a thread about trying to improve our gaming experience in a few days, I guess I will just give up and let whatever will be, be.

I'll be the one sitting in the FP queues waiting for a game.

So... DropDeck Hotfix will "hopefully" be implemented tomorrow (Wednesday?), also the FP Podcast should be recorded and a FP event announced for this weekend. A little glimmer of hope?

Only things changed is they claim they fixed the drop deck and nerfed the longtom.

They shouldn't even have an event this weekend until they make enough changes so that people will want to continue playing once the event is over.

I shall give you my predictions for this weekends event.
1. Once again all the big time merc units will go clan.
Over under on Jade Falcon 15.5 percent of population.
Over under on Ghost Bear 12.5 percent of population
2 I.S. cues we be full of pugs being seal clubbed.
3. Clans will scout to long tom within the 1st 2 hours of each attack phase.
4. PGI will still find a way to justify nerfing the innersphere.

Sound familiar? Same thing happened after Tukayyid and every FW event since then.

Hope? Not even a glimmer.
