PGI said it was being increased in range specifically to emphasize the difference between IS and clan tech

with energy draw being added you can no longer fire more than 4 CERML at one time. So its not like you have to worry about getting hit for 50+ damage from across the map like the laser vomit of old.

still they Just make a build that dose 4 med vollys

its not an alpha but the range is my problem

my IS large laser would have abut the same range

talk to the Harebrained guys on how to properly balance weapons, ranges, heat and stuff like that, i mean they are using your models so you have a communication channel available

im still trying to understand PGI thought process "clan needs more range"

this is a game not a reenactment of the TT

ether balance it for 12v12 or make it 12v5 so they can buff clans to OP-ness

as they seam to be trying to do :/
