Well they do seem to have their heads down as of late. Earlier this year it felt like they had a bit more of a presence. Not just on the forums, but with more frequent townhalls, videos and such. It at least give a hint at what they are planning. Although i guess we already know most of the stuff that they are going to be working on til December.

They could make a RussChatBot on Facebook if that'd make people feel better.

Not to keep derailing this thread any more, because it needs to stay focused on PGI and getting them to open up to us more, but c'mon...most of the people who sprechen sie Englisch tend to write in ebonics it seems nowadays. The English language is dying all around us...

Well while that may be true, it might work to your advantage in the work place. I actually curse a good amount at work but I get to practice writing like a civilized human on here. Regardless...this isn't the first time he's made reference to the intelligence level and whatnot of the general forum posting community.

Back on topic, at least they put up that post but the hotfix isn't coming until next month. I'm thinking this could have all been somehow avoided but what do I know?

Let me start with a thank you to PGI for the small hot fix that is incoming.

Next let me once more repeat that PGI needs to show us they are reading these forums and listening even if they disagree with us. To many times threads are started by players concerning valid issues and problems with this game The threads then slowly begin to a revolve around guesses by other players as to why, how or what PGI is doing. Instead of a clear and honest response from PGI saying yes we know there is a problem. Simple and quick responses from the devs would go a long way to keeping the mood and posts made on these forms a lot more respectfull and positive.

I don't know how any company would be able to manage the deluge of whining that a "general" forum is. Concerns voiced in the feedback threads (and sadly enough Twitter is a valid venue as well), when valid, are often addressed. General threads are NOT feedback threads,...

Have you forgotten already?

Unless you have a majority of players coming on here to say yes, you will still be vastly ignored in your ideals.

Been a voice in the wilderness here for to long to care. As much as I try to get solos and casuals to sign onto the forums and be heard its not going to happen. Apathy reigns and exploits dominate. Like another poster pointed out that is in every video game today. No reason to shut up though because some do care. just very few.

i remember the days when the devs were regulars on the forums answering questions, clarifying patchs with not one or 2 support post took the time to answer as many questions as possible. then one day they vanished with out a trace like the star league.

Because they were engaging with the trolls. Management pulled the plug on that, and who can blame them. If you get sucked into arguing with every whiner that says what you do for a living is substandard, your morale and work performance are going to suffer. Trolls are gonna troll, holding discussions with them isn't going to change much and it will take a lot of time and energy.

I'm satisfied with the few responses they have given and a timely hot fix to address many of the rest.
