PGI owes FW some love.

Last week, I asked for a FW event to boost the population so we can actually use those "drop decks". I suggested it in a tone of "you owe us after this drop deck failure". Telling paying customers that it will be fixed in a month really scrapes the bottom of service standards in any industry.

Although I am powerful, my confidence is low that PGI will post a FW event. Please assist in voicing a need for an event.

Do what you forum warriors do...

Thanks!

In all seriousness, without removing LT another FW event could kill the remaining, battered population of FW.

Yep, say NO to another FP event.

Until Long Tom is fixed, such and event is nothing short of stupid. It will FURTHER discourage people by mass Long Tom bombings.

A FP event is needed once it is fixed, to maybe bring a few people back/show that it's not "as ****" as it currently is.

Good idea for event. Good point about LT.

Battlefield 1 beta kicks off in a day or so. That's event enough for me.

+1 for a FW event asap. It'd be great if it would incentivize PUGs to group up as that would make their FW experience so much better.

Until "buckets" get here, FW players need the love!

I'm all for an FP event but also agree that LT needs to be addressed (damage toned down or just remove it) before that happens.

...............which should give me plenty of time for my little break and to get shtuff done around the house ;)

Let's see, FW event, subject players to Long Tom and uneditable Drop Decks.

Or PTS event to increase testing numbers.

The OP proposal is for a FP event over labor day weekend. No I will suffer enough. I will be laboring on yard work, farm chores, dealing with back to school drama, and lastly traveling to far off locations to see relatives that I don't want to see, and who don't want to see me...because that's just how we passive aggressive northerners operate. But that is not enough trauma for me to suffer? No? OP apparently thinks I need to suffer more. OP thinks I need an event where I sit in a queue for 10 minutes only to have someone state "oh crap, long tom is active on this planet" and then watch everyone drop out, and then get the "fun" of having to repeat that process over and over again? No thanks ya friggin sadist.

Why doesn't anyone just scout the LT away? That's what it's there for.

The influence of Long Tom at this juncture is WAY overblown. I've played 100+ matches in the past 30 days. Long Tom has been a factor in exactly one of them.

Did you play the last event?
Every Steiner planet had long tom within 2 hrs.
Event brings out the Long Tom.

Because when there is no FP event no one scouts to a sufficient level to call LT in to service. Some folks have even posted about this "gentleman's' agreement". But when there is an event (I know its been a while but think back to the last one), then the largest units (OK faction...but really it is the supporting merc units) send folks to spam scouting so as to get long tom active. This is what many of the poster's above are talking about when they say an FP event will scare off even more people.

Unfortnately PGI has no clue how to reward peoples regular accounts for PTS accounts.

Yes.

They can design an event that doesn't bring out LT, which rarely happens now because no one plays scouting mode.

Best thing PGI could do is to NOT draw attention to FW until they fix LT and editing drop decks.

You can if you're in a group. Perhaps that's not a bad thing since PUGing in FW is all kinds of purgatory.

Transverse v2, minimally viable alpha!

Seriously, even I don't know what they are spending their time in... because it's obviously not MWO.

Think they're all running around the offices with buckets cleaning up all the messes left by Paul since they let him loose on ghost heat 2.0 energy draw
