what happens to this game? many disconnected from the server, server under maintenance, and this happens just this August, in july, I still able to play, so what's going on here? well, if MWO is getting "walled" only to american and europe regions, then me, who lived in Indonesia, Asia, can't play this game anymore? so what's really happen? what is the truth behind this?

I play from a remote place in Asia, but the connections are generally fine. I get dc'd once or twice a week, have some lag here and there, but nothing that makes the game unplayable.

One thing I have noticed is that the "servers are down for maintenance" announcement comes up when it has nothing to do with the server. For example, if I disconnect my comp from the internet, MWO says servers are down for maintenance.

My advice, when the servers are down sign appears, pretend it says "Connection failed".

Beyond that, I think the Oceania server is based in Singapore. That shouldn't be too far from where you are.

Maybe, if the problem continues, you should contact support. They may not even realize there is a problem.

We kind of need more information.

Servers go under maintenance once a week at late American hours, and during patch day.

"An error occurred" is typically a crash that occurs when the internet connection to your ISP "hiccups". It used to happen a LOT when I was forced to use 4G internet so I could play the game while moving. The phone would get hot, which would in turn disconnect the internet, and cause "An error occurred".

Wireless internet? Make it hard wired. Hard wired internet? Make sure it is up to Cable internet standards.

I usually get "an error occurred." Though I have gotten "Servers are down for maintenance" at times when it wasn't maybe twice in the last two years on disconnects. Both in the last three months.

This game can be very demanding on the connection, which is why we generally recommend wired internet: Wired connections are simply more stable.
