I like this if only because its Return of the Jedi'ish and Jurassic Park'ish on the bundle saving. Dumb challenge like 3PV actualy sound hilarious but only if everyone else is in 3pv, otherwise its an insane gimping for the lone guy doing it. Well i hope people have fun doing it rather than *****.

This is a great first step PGI, to make matches more interesting. What you need to do next though, is integrate these conditions into the actual match win/lose conditions. Once we get past Team Death Match as the win conditions, then we have a game.

You could have win/win lose/lose draw/draw all depending on conditions.


One I was thinking of is a simple escort mission. Team A has to get player A5 from Nav Beta to Nav Zeta. Team B has to prevent this, without killing player A5 or else everyone loses. Call it a los tech retrieval.

Something else could be purposely mis-matched unit numbers. 12 v 8. Team B is ambushing team A. Team B must kill X number of 'mechs and still exit 3 'mechs off the southern edge or they lose. Team A wins a decisive victory if they destroy X Team B 'mechs without losing Y 'mechs. Degrees of victory and loss would be good in this situation.

This is a fun event, much better than simply farming KMDD's etc! I appreciate all those "please stick with your team mates" challenges under the headline "It's Not Rocket Science" ... I swear to so many it is.

I'm 99.9% sure there's a bug in the tracking of "Sensory Deprivation" challenge ("In a match at least once, Use ECM (Counter Mode) to counter the ECM of an enemy 'Mech."). I got one of these, and never had an ECM in counter mode. Might it count ECM countering through UAV's?

There is a bug in third person view. If someone bumps into you, or you walk backwards into a wall, you can glitch into first person view.

Yeah something is buggy with the 3rd Person View challenge. I should have 2, but it's still listed at zero despite them showing up at the bottom.

Too bad. That was a fun one trying to fight through the janky cross hairs and zoom distance.

Very innovative challenge gotta admit. But the most interesting thing is: They have implemented sneaky stealthy new updates to track our movement. Additional question: What is currently trackable through these new changes? I am curious.
Since I am no fan of 3pv however and never used it before I kinda feel like being forced to play like that. 1 match - yes may be but 11 matches in that state? May I just play one match and its counted as 11? Pretty please.
@ the gentlemen and ladies discussing the ninja stealth - it is sneaking up from behind and tagging them. Their backs turned to you but you are having them in your sight. - laughed hard at that. Try sneaking up behind em for once but surprise em with an assault instead of a light.
I'll try getting all achievements and since this is a challenge I'll accept it. (I am not saying no to earnable mcs )

challenges are MEANT to be challenging. Events shouldn't be "oh I finished them all in six matches", though with their usual personal challenges that's exactly how it is for many players.
