Thinking about buy the full pack, i have doubts about the viability of the mechs

Jenner IIC seems ok
hunchback IIC, i want it
Orión IIC? still viable? i have timberwolfs!
highlander IIC? is rare to see this days, is a mediocre mech? is a brauler? a long range assault?

if i buy the full pack, ill be rewarded with 2 summoner (isnt it??) . Are those summoners good mechs? they are very rare to see in game!, why?

pls some advice, sry for my english and TY!!

Orion IIC is a better brawler than Timperwolf, that's about it, Timber does everything else better

Jenner IIC post size increase is a bit harder to SRM brawl, though you can play it as a very mobile LRM boat with JJ, in that setup it's somewhere between Catapult and Mad Dog

Hunchback IIC is really, really good

Maybe you wanna check that metamechsite if you are so much focused on viability. Thats where the pros go to i heard.

Never used the Jenner much because I'm miserable with light mechs

Hunchbacks are quite good, fairly high torso hardpoints for ballistics and lasers

Orions can be fun, better used as long-ish ranged harassment

Highlanders are rare because they're still quite slow, but are quite good for long range annoyance while still carrying enough armour and ability to carry heavy weapons to be a threat at close range

Jenny IIC and Hunchie IIC are still top tier. Orion IIC and Highlander IIC suck compared to alternatives. Summoners suck compared to the alternatives.

Hope this answered your questions.

HBK-IIC is one of my favorite mechs. I only bought the $40 pack, and it seems like that was a good idea in comparison to $60 or $80.

No, it's not worth the money. You can get all those mechs for c-bills. Only the Hunchback is relatively good for its weight class.

The two Summoner variants you get as a reward are OK, but not worth the money.

This is not a good investment unless you are a collector who needs to own every special mech in the game.

If you really want to spend money buy premium time or mech'bays. Or even better wait till Xmas season you might get mc bays and pt cheaper then...

The full IIC pack was never worth it basically. The Jenner IIC and Hunchback IIC are great though. Orion IIC and Highlander IIC basically are like their IS counterparts in that they just aren't great.

The Summoners aren't great, but those two variants will give a couple hardpoints (one energy hardpoint in the torso each giving a total of one energy point per torso). This actually makes the Summoners have enough energy hardpoints to do a decent energy boat build with a couple high mounts, possibly could act like a mini Executioner with 2 LPL up top and 4 SPL in the arms or SRMs there or something if it has the pod space.

Still I wouldn't recommend anything past the Hunchback from that pack.

HighlanderIIC-C is a BEAST - the other variants are rather suck-ish tho.

i actually liked the whole pack. when i bought it i just got the hunch level, but ive since got the others with cbills and have pretty much enjoyed them. idk if its worth spending real money on it right now though. they went and gave the highlander iic quirks while i was leveling it, and it felt kind of op as a mixed build and i really thought it didnt need them.

They are outclassed by their IS equivalents.

Since the most competitively interesting mechs are the light and the medium, which are cheap and fast to grind out for free, it doesn't seem worth it.

PGI's way of charging the same for mechs that are cheap or expensive in game really makes no sense, it makes all light and medium mech packs look like a super bad deal. IMO they should scale the real money prices to the cbill prices so buying lights and mediums for cash seemed reasonable.

I just bought an Orion IIC it seems pretty good
came with 4ERLLs and a gauss

I already worked my way from LRM20 no artemis to LRM5 no artemis
now I work back up starting with LRM5 with artemis

I bought some Hunchback IIC's but sold them before I got them mastered

it might be a good idea to only buy 1 of each Mech to try them out

The only one I don't particularly like is the Orion IIC. It, like its IS counterpart, lacks the oomph to carry itself to greatness.

The jenner and hunchback don't really need and introduction, the Orion IIC is very powerful once you get the handle of it and pretty much can do what a Timber Wolf can the only issue is the right arm missile pod it can really make your day miserable if that get shot off quickly, Highlander no input since I didn't purchase it.
