Does anyone know WHY the Marauder IIc ULTIMATE package doesnt qualify as a TOP TIER package for the Loyalty Program Year 3 ?

It is nearly as expensive as the ORIGINS TOP TIER package !

And it is also nearly as expensive as 2 COLLECTORS packages !

MfG, MEX

PS: When I bought the PHX ULTIMATE package, it also didnt count as a COLLECTORS package and I didnt get the Crusader pattern at first Posted Image

It's because they want to spend an additional $20 (per pack) unnecessarily because it's money now for PGI, despite it having the least amount of value for many spenders.

Would you like another mechpack?

I realized that wasn't the issue... but it's probably the fact that it isn't "2 collector's packs". 1 Ultimate Pack covers 1 (because it contains a collector's pack). You'd still need +1 collector's pack despite this.

PGI's gonna do what they are gonna do.

The Ultimate pack comes with the Collectors version, though. You can't spend another $20.

It's a bug if it doesn't count.

Did you wait 24 hours for the loyalty page to update, as they said you would need to after each purchase?

The rewards page updates once every 24 hours, the page even gives you the specific time of day. I guess OP didn't read that far (to be fair, I didn't either, and had to have it pointed out to me).

EDIT: From the very top of the page:

The rules are bizarre. It counts but it's only half of the requirement.

You have to spend $20 to upgrade for a SINGLE +30% CBILL mech CLONE to qualify.

Spending that $20 on reinforcements doesn't work.

Basically, you need to just throw money at those loyalty mechs.

I'll wager more people plop down for the reinforcements (because you get different, if not useful, stuff) vs. the single collectors mech that is a clone of a mech you already have.

Yeah, CB are not an issue for me, so I buy STD and hero usually, maybe reinforcements. More or less got the finger on rewards.

Personally, I would like to see them include if you bought 4+ normal 20$ packs. If the threshold is 2 40$ collectors =80$ total US, then you should be able to mix and match until you hit that 80 dollar threshold and qualify.

Phoenix Hawk Ultimate is more expensive than Origins IIC...

Why do the Steam Performance Packs not qualify for IS & Clan base rewards?

Because they're enormous bargain values already. They're such a great deal its worth setting up a steam accout version of MWO just to buy the packs, link them to your regular MWO account, and then toss out the steam installation. They're not considered mech packs for Inner Sphere/Clan rewards though specifically because they aren't unique to either tech base as they only contain ONE mech of each per pack.

Again though, folks continue to ignore that fact that PGI has clearly said it is NOT about dollars spent, but about what tier level of packs you bought. A basic pack + hero + reinforcements is still just a BASIC tier level purchase.

Maybe they should use simpler math... basic is a zero level mech pack and collector is a one level pack. You need at least a zero level mech pack for the basic inner sphere bonus mech reward, and TWO or more value mech packs for the top-tier loyalty reward. Well guess what, it doesn't matter how many basic packs you bought...five times zero...is still zero. But two times one is TWO.

[Redacted] They simply are not "'enormous bargain values." Once you start talking about the MC cost of the included CBills you have conceded the argument.

You also have no idea why the Performance Packs are not considered mech packs; your ignorance is especially amusing since previous single mech packages have counted.

You need two Collector mechs, that's the only thing that counts. Full pack don't matter.
