Objective = To bring up FP participants.
Subsection 1 of x = Using geographical logic as basis!!! Rule/condition number 1 = (A)+[B] = (c), ignore other logical conditions.
(A) = IS is home, supply lines are near, the closer and deeper into Terra/middle of map has higher population/soldiers/supplies/ammo/mechs/parts.... you know......
[B] = while lore is that CLAN attack to Terra from far far away, the closer it gets to Terra, the further the supply lines.....
Solution (c) = IS closer to Terra have higher tonnage by a lot over CLANs, because it is IS home, supply are immediate = next door. Pilots death can be replenished on instance. Mechs destroyed can be resupplied on short distances from neighbours / factory plant or whatever, doesn't have to be real and logical, just simple idea to play a game.
Estimated outcome, allow IS to always win near Terra (30% of the inside map) because of example 300 tons/4 mechs. Or even more ton, i.e. 350 tons/4 mechs (last 10% near to Terra).
yeah yeah the houses are split, not united, supplies can't be that easy to get.... ignore ignore for the fun of it.
This idea causes CLAN to always win further out in the map and sort of possibly maintain the 3050 map as is.... ?
Subsection 2 of x = worth thinking about "SUPPLY LINE" as basis of rules/condition.
i.e.
it is allowed/possible to be cut off. i.e. current map I think is CJF straight down to Terra, can be attacked upon from left and right side. IS can team up to pin point and cut off the middle. Add new condition/rules. Cut off units/clans are allowed to maintain function/life/supplies as long as they hold planets with resources. Unfortunately it is not setup up I know I know..... but we are anticipating it...... waiting for it....... we know you (PGI) can do it.... chearing on you. Work overtime. Okay anyway, if no planets provide resources, the unit will expire after certain time, new formula needed...oopppsss. Anyway, just make something up, it's only a game, no need to be such trivial, we just want more people in FP, non stop drop, like QP.
Add a small twist, trapped Clan pilots have limited number of lifes, i.e. 5 or 10 deaths, whatever formula PGI decides following lance/company/brigade size, mouth to feed whatever...... doesn't need to be real anyway. If no reinforcement reach the trapped clanners, after 10 death, it's total lost of that entire area, and Terra reclaims it alltogether.
IS becomes happy, plus they keep winning, they keep playing.
OK OK, clanners keep loosing clanners stop playing...... possible......
no no, middle circular of the map around 65% that's where the sweetspot is hoped to appear. The higher tonnage (unknown figure) somehow is used/stepped upon/tried and proven, where IS and CLANS win/lost are 50% 50%, everyone happy. I hope........ yeah no, no one is ever happy..... just everyone gets to shoot mechs.......... all the time.
