Regarding the srm question: I believe artemis in MWO works on line of sight. So lrms grouping tightens when you have artemis and line of sight of enemy. Srms are always line of sight anyways so artemis automatically tighten groupings on srm.
Streaks home on individual components instead of a central target like lrms do, so artemis doesn't help it in that regard

Ah, I may be wrong with the SSRM. I only play IS mechs and IS's SSRM2s are...

As one of the poster corrected me above, SSRMs also counts towards Narc kills.
