Looks like an Inner Sphere Mad Dog. I forget which is the Inner Sphere designation for it.

... Vulture...

But considering that the Bushwacker was a dead end design until the capture of a Mad Dog, seems reasonable that they would lift design elements from it to fix the Bushwacker.

Vulture was the IS designation for the Mad Dog. Also, it looks like the Bushwacker from every angle from what I can tell.

I love it, meds are my favorite class and now we have something to counter the Stormcrow in FP Scouting.

How can you say that without even seeing the available hardpoints?

I don't know guys, Looks too skinny to be bushwacker IMO. But at the same time, I can't recall any other mech atm that resemble that profile with a chicken leg.

(I mean, from frontal profile, shouldn't the body be more triangular?)

Well, that also assumes the legs are reverse-jointed. Could just as easily be flipped, with the way the image tiles are cut.

Ah well. If it's the Bushwacker then this might be the first IS pack in a long time I don't buy. It's a mech which means absolutely nothing to me. Nice for those who do care, I suppose, but for my part? Meh.

My current progress with it in case we've missed anything...without side shots...it honestly disgusts me.
I expect better from Alex, but until I see those side shots I can't say for sure. It looks too thin. Also we finally more non-humanoid IS bots and they're non-symmetrical. I just want IS mechs that have Ebon Jaguar type geometry. :(

The top part of the CT looks way too stretched.

The CT cockpit/nose section also seems a bit too high up relative to the shoulders around it. This will very likely cause hitbox issues...

We must remember that this is a 55 ton medium, and I don't know of any small 55 mediums in MWO. I just want it to not look like a stick insect. It's supposed to be short and hard to hit, these orthos, as we see them, makes the thing a towering dingus.

Also the arms appear to be the biggest thing looking forward...iirc most of the weapons are in the arms. Would be hard to keep them on your mech. Looks about as XL-friendly as the Crab, though.

Looking at source material, the bit above the cockpit area is probably swept back over the rear of the hull. Everything starting from the top of the cockpit to the lowest part of the middle section is probably at a shallow slope.

As Russ would say, "55 ton mech size."

With that being said, I wasn't even comparing it to other mechs in MWO. I was comparing its proportions relative to all previous artwork and 3D models of it (BT/TRO, MW3, MW4, etc.). It looks seriously off.

If the entirety of the front is coned towards the front, then it may make more sense. We will have to wait for side orthos.
I would prefer if the mech was wider rather than taller...

Definitely designed with durability in mind. Making it look like an older original Vulture for sure. I like the design a lot.

Like so many said before, if only the game had writers as good as the mech designers. Maybe they do? No way to tell. :)
