Five times I have had NARC on when watching an enemy be destroyed, three as solo kills and twice watching others. None of these have registered . . is there a problem with recording that NARC is on a mech?

Some people are saying the mech specifically has to be killed by a missile in order for the narc kill to register for the event.

Same thing. I just got tired of this amd started to use my favourite 4xUAC5 KGC with Tag and NARC to get 100% registered kill. Yeah, I am doing it literally wrong, but it's enough for challenge.

Three of the solo kills were by my own SRM boat; same as Ironic though, gave that part up along with the 3rd Person part and just dropped back to trusted load outs and wracked up a load of pain on the opposition to pick up the other rewards.

Another event with a good premise, let down in execution.

I've had multiple problems with this.

1.) Matches where I've had 3, and 4 NARC kills, register as one for the event. The description of the challenge doesn't mention a cap.

2.) I've had NARC's applied to mechs that are killed with the NARC still active and it doesn't register as a NARC kill. This has happened now on at least 6 occasions.

Likely, I too had matches with active narc kill not registering, as far as I can remember the enemies were not killed by missiles.

Yeah, PGI screwed this up.

The telemetry they are tracking is the in-game reward 'NARC Kill' which specifically requires a target that is NARC'd die to LRM fire.

What they actually said in for the event is "In a match at least once, Have NARC engaged against an Enemy while they are destroyed."

The same thing goes for TAG.

"Requirements can only be met a single time in a single match." So it doesn't matter how many NARC kills you get in one match, it only counts as one point towards the goal.

Enemy has to be killed by an SSRM or LRM for it to count as NARC kill.
