LOL ... Hilarious.
You guys were the ones who asked for map voting and now you complain about it. Fkn priceless.
What can I say ... cry harder and maybe if you (again) cry hard enough they'll do smth about it.

Completely agree with this.

Used to be pages and pages of players crying about getting maps no one wanted to play (apparently).

This system is one of the best things they have done for the game.

If you don't get the map you wanted, save your votes and eventually you will have the power to make it happen.

Whining about not having the map you want every time you grace a side with your presence is just pathetic.

Yeah because the board and community is a hivemind.

I've never asked for map voting.

And this here is all you need to read to know that PGI should have mech selections after the map is picked.

To be honest, if I designed the system, I'd have it so that every player creates a Drop deck, and then after a map is selected they choose one of the mechs from their drop deck. That way players still get some choice, but they are limited by the tonnage restriction of the dropdeck (or the BV, because if it was my system there would be a BV system).

You go do your mech drop deck thing, and I'll still be dropping in the same mech regardless of map. QP can't get that much worse.

Neither did I.
