So I'm sure I'm not the only person to get into faction play for the first time with this weekend event. I've been playing for a few weeks, fairly regularly, but don't feel like I've really improved a lot beyond some very basic skills with PUGs.
I have a headset, but don't see many people with them in PUGs, and in faction play, I am routinely wrecked by groups of 8+ with the same Unit tag who clearly are communicating efficiently (as well as skilled veteran players).
I may not be exceptionally skilled at this game, but I feel like I would improve faster with a little communication and the opportunity to work with the same people over time, especially if those people could give me some pointers.
So how do I get set up with a unit? I've browsed the forums, and downloaded Team Speak, but beyond that it's all a little overwhelming for someone not used to the whole online social aspect of the game.
Any advice?

Go to the FP forums. There are subforums specifically for recruiting there.

Honestly I had the best luck hopping from faction to faction, just chatting with whomever I dropped with. After a while I found some decent folk to drop with an eventually joined a unit. But should you ever find yourself in the same faction as me, feel free to send me a message an we can group up, an I'll show you what I can.

Since your currently in clan wolf, you should have no problem finding a home since there are many units in clan wolf that are constantly recruiting!
Like boogie138 said, head over to the faction play forums.
you'll find a group in no time, especially since you said you already have TS installed and your ready to learn!
(Those are two very important qualities!)
