No, those special camo's are already colored. Just like the faction camo.. If you buy a One shot, or even camo unlock for say Ghost bear, the unlock only works on the mech type you bought, like say a timber wolf. But then you can put it on any timber.
Just like if you buy a camo unlock for your marauders if it is faction. You could use that one on any of your marauder and it would get all the colors, BUT the other camos don't have any colors attached to them.
The packs that come with colors, are resistance, and wave packages, and origins. which also have faction camo's The single mech packs, i'm pretty sure none come with any of that, outside of the hero/special, and no colors.

You can also change the colors on those special patterns, On newer mechs, that have the feature.. Also some older mechs you can't change out the old hero pattern. But those older mechs are slowly getting full camo.
The MAD has full camo, so no need to worry there.
