[Bishop Steiner]

There was an apparent typo on the sales page, with the P1 model showing no Lower Arm Actuator, leading some to jump to the conclusion that the Hand Actuator was a typo, and that we would have an AC20 toting BSW.

Well, tweeted Russ about, he said he'd look into it, and upon checking the page just now, the BSW-P1 has a full set of arm actuators now.

Sorry to be the harbinger of sad news and shattered dreams, but felt it might be good for folks to know who might be pinning their decision to buy the Reinforcements or not on the misplaced hope that they could run a BFG.

If only there was a type of Inner Sphere engine that only took up 2 critical slots per side torso such that an AC/20 could be mounted with it...

Yeah, it's sad, I mean how involved would adding LFEs actually be? Some cutting and pasting UI stuff, editing some data tables?

Ac10 is nothing like an ac20. It doesn't have the big booooom sound and the enemy knock back animation of the 20.

Could always take a STD engine and put the AC20 in the Side Torso. Meh, i guess that wouldn't be that good.

Would rather take 3 AC5s and an XL engine if I am going to be slow.

Well, in point of fact, it was forum users who jumped to that conclusion. I believe I even warned against doing so in the other thread.

But I do agree, if that is what you wanted, then it makes no sense to order these. I just don't see where screaming and cussing PGI really comes in to play (in this instance).

That was not jumping to a conclusion; that was stating an obvious fact: Lacking the Lower Arm meant that it would take the AC20; now that they have bait & switched, I have to cancel my pre-order

Seeing as I also upgraded another pack to Collector's for the Stalker I now have to have that removed & refunded, which given it has been injected will be an utter pain.

Laziness like this is extremely frustrating and costs me time and them money. IGPGI: same ****; different letters

No. Because it still listed a Hand Actuator, which is not possible without a Hand Actuator. And as POSTED even, with said hand actuator and no lower arm, it STILL would not have been able to mount an AC20.

So you made and assumption, and ran with it. Typos happen.

With the Centurion available, I doubt I'd even want an AC20 Bushwacker. Bushie's side profile is too vulnerable for brawls. I'd much rather use it to facetime with AC5s and UAC5s.
