Has there been any update on that from any source?
There's no announcement that I can find, and all that's on Russ's Twitter feed is about Bushwhackers.

I imagine the founders who donated money to PGI based on the promise of a fully realized Faction Play are severely disappointed that they're killing the factions off and handing it over to the pug farmers.
Having donated to the MWO Kickstarter must feel a lot like hand feeding a raccoon...

Not really... Most have actually understood this long ago. Sure hope and all is nice but the playerbase was never big enough for proper faction play.
That will not stop people from pissing and moaning... As is their right.

Nah... IGP was the biggest.... Not having a proper PR plan was the second... I´d say FP comes on at around 3:rd or maybe fourth depending on how you view the clans.

Yea and what about us who does not have a guild?
Pretty much left out.
That's how i feel about this event anyway, left out.
I do enjoy doing these kind of challanges, but 2 weeks of something i can't be apart of unless i join a guild is kinda meh.
