WHY should PGI care for CW any more if the players will not play it? If more people played CW, PGI would surely put up more effort to develop more content for CW. Thus by not playing CW and driving away interested folks, we as the players put the nails into the coffin.
PGI have put some nails by neglecting CW event wise for too long, however.

I thought we might have learned from dealing with the Defensive Kills of the last challenge that creating a competition based on what your ENEMY does (i.e., achieve a KMD on a light/medium/heavy/assault mech) is a bad idea?

So if I encounter an enemy that never drops a particular mech type...then I'm out of that particular competition? That's great.

And ... its currently bugged, Clan and IS challenges count opposite. That is all.

Scouting counts too, not just Invasion.

Challenge stats are not counted correctly - played excluseively in my griffin 2n in scouting mode - points get counted on clan side......

BUG: KMDD while scouting for IS against Clans is counting for Clans Challenge against IS category.

16-20 matches matches average with a coordinated 4-man and you should be done with scouting portion of the challenge (not necessarily KMDD).

Yeah the tally is displaying wrong on the website - but in the back end you do get the correct reward. A few people have noted down in other threads that they are at least getting the correct award for what they are doing.

So if they fix it so that your KMDs count for the proper side...but then you SWITCH sides...do you effectively screw yourself out of getting the KMDs for the other side?

MS is Jade Falcon now. Every kill we make is counting towards the Inner Sphere challenge.

What happens if they fix it...and we switch to the Inner Sphere? Does that cost us a chance to score on the Clan challenge?

Looks like KMDD for Inner Sphere aligned players is being counted under Clans KMDD. My unit is currently, aligned with Kurita. Perhaps this is just a display error and the correct rewards are being applied.

You must fight in a Clan vs. Inner Sphere battle for a match to count toward these goals.
Both Scouting and Invasion matches will count toward this component of the Challenge.

My matches are counting for IS as well and I am currently a merc with smoke jaguar. When I drop in scouting it shows my mech as a Warhammer when I actually have a stormcrow.

Hey everyone, we're looking into the issue! We should have this straightened out tonight.
Rest assured you won't be blocked from getting any rewards but if you are you can always contact support closer to the end of the event.

sounds like its just a display issues at this point.
