So i'm not one that likes the clan mechs that much, but this match in the Ebon Jaguar has me singing another tune right now because i love how it performed. It just did all the right things for me.

I'm wondering though..... would it be a good dakka boat? I seen a version that i could run 2 UAC5's and 2 SRM 6's on it and that looks like it'd be a entertaining build to run.

I ran it like this when I first got them but for some reason didnt click so I switched to dual gauss and later on to gauss/2cLPL. Suits my playstyle better than laser vomit.
But yeah, its an good dakka boat if you like that. You can also run 3xUac5 or dual Uac5 and some lasers on it if you want to.

I'm personally a fan of 2x UAC10 and 6x ERSLas. Symmetrical. The mech cannot deadside due to how huge the side torso weapon pods are, so don't try it. Go symmetrical, and stay at mid range. It can be an absolute beast.

2 UAC5 and 2 SRM 6 sounds a little light.

The EBJ can handle 2 UAC10. I've seen my EBJ buddy ride in with 3 UAC5 and 6 ERSL (don't ask me how).

Personally, I knew st run with lore loadouts for it. As long as you can manage the heat, 2 PPCs, 2 LPLas, 2MPLas and a TAG are quite good.

The EBJ is a pretty nice mech. I personaly prefer 2 UAC5, 2 SRM4, 5 ERSML. It could be a little hot when things get close but it performs well for me.
UAC10, 5 ERMeds, many DHS and a TC1 is another loadout i play. Works great too.

Would it be a good dakka? HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

I introduce to you my pride and joy, the love of my life:

The Jag MkII

Some things might not be following standard conventions, such as the arm only mounting, but I have my reasons.

And yes you will usually live long enough to run out of ammo.

Streetsweeper 1: EBJ-A Short brawler

Streetsweeper 2: EBJ-A Long brawler

Of course I have both set up on the Prime(I) for the C-Bill bonus, but you get the picture.

For me, the EBJ is the best mech in the game by far. I'm only ever using this build and even tough this is the Gman's "meta" build it's exactly the same as I have built it the first day I got it, it's just the ultimate hill hop sniper that packs a punch and runs cool enough on all ranges. It's just insane how good it is.

Could argue that Kodiak is a better Mech but even with the 400 engine and great hardpoints, it is still a slow assault that has to adapt to at least some circumstances to be optimal, while the speed and adaptability of top mounted weapons on EBJ make it the perfect design for MWO gameplay style and maps that always works with reliability.

I like my Clan Catapults (Ebon Jaguars) :).

Although not quite as capable, I think I still like them more than my Timber Wolf.

One build is just a very simple dual gauss,

Another runs a Gauss Rifle, ERPPC, 2 SRM4s, and I think a TC3.

My favorite is a 2 LPLaser (mounted high), 6 ERSLasers, a TC3, and all the DHS I can stuff in it.

Good, fun mechs.

In this match? I was using the trial version of the EBJ-Prime. So it has a gauss rifle, 2 large pulse lasers and 1 medium laser.

Let me put it like this @Agent1190, anytime i do team damage it's not intentional and wanting to report me for a mere 2 team damage is just plain asinine, especially when in 95% of the matches i have been in to date, a team mate has either bumped into me and we caused leg damage to each other which is what happened this match or they've stepped into my line of fire as i'm shooting and i don't know about you but after i've clicked the button i can't exactly rewind the shot.

You want to report me for 2 team damage while the 1200 i did to the enemy team outweighs it by far, go right ahead pal because it won't hurt me a single bit.

Try reading the bloody thing properly--Team Damage (2) amount and not the C-Bills deducted (-42).

Noobs... /facepalm.
