Okay so i have full mech bays today, but what if i became so lucky that i unboxed a new mech in a Supply Cache? What would happen with the mech?

Yep, comes with a mechbay as already stated. And free C-Bills if you so choose to sell said mech.

In a way, it's two prizes in one.

I can confirm.
Just got lucky enough to unlock a Mechbay two days ago: the thing was already occupied by a Vindicator!
I never tried the Mech so I kept it, but i like the optionnal 650K Cbills bonus.

I'll never open any other caches from now on, though! (just so i could keep the impression that i'm lucky )

pgi like to give away keys. seems ever other weekend you can net a few. i did buy a few keys when the system was new, just to try it out (mostly because the game has gotten that boring where you need to play the slots to have a good time), those didnt earn me anything. pgi gives me a few here and there and i win a wad of mc (enough to break even at least) and a mech bay.
