the envelope means they have sent you a message, double click on the envelope and it shows you the message they have sent

Yea, you have to double click it.
Joining a Unit and leaving the Clan sort of messed me up with my "friends" for a couple of reasons. One is that now that a lot of people from my Unit are "friends" it is hard to tell them from players I've met in other ways.
I made a fair amount of friends while I was still a Wolf. And I make them play QP pug matches. And maybe the worse thing is I make them while fighting for one faction (for a whole week or whatever). And I feel bad because I'm a Merc and I'll be gone soon.
I also feel guilty (I do guilt well) over the friends I made as a member of a Clan and just in general because I really do not ever get to do anything with them. I've had times where I had 3 invites to groups and since one was from my Unit what else could I do?
Since I'm not a good player damage wise, I'm not really sure how I made so many friends. I do understand when I was running the "IRON DOME" a lot why certain players wanted to group with me. Maybe it is the voices I do while playing. Like when I playing a Kodiak, I do Ivan Drago, lol.
