Does anyone know how many meters a TT hex translates into in MWO?

A weapon with a max range of 9 hexes in the TT will have an effective range in MWO of... ?

1 TT hex should be equal to 30 meters. It says it's equal to that in the TT rulebooks anyways according to what the TT players say...
I havent played the TT game so i can't really confirm it.
