The game has been this way since the update to UI 2.0. If I don't have a window open in the background, I cannot alt tab to the desktop. This is really irritating, though not game breaking in any way. I would just like to be able to tab out of the game and adjust things like my Shadowplay settings if I need to without leaving the window open.

The workaround is to CLT ALT DEL and open task manager. it sucks but not massively painful.

sometimes, really not all the time but often enough, after Alt-Tabbing out of the game to do something else while waiting for a match when I Alt-Tab back into the game it "breaks" continuosly jumping back and forth (causing epileptic strokes) until I Task-Manange to break the endless cycle...
I have learned to only Alt-Tab when absolutely necessary when playing this game...
