Looks like you can do a pretty slick 3 ERLL combo between the head and torso mounts there...

Think about it, if ED comes, that would actually be viable and *NOT* hot as ****

Yeah, it'll be badass for ridgehumping. The ST ballistics will be crazy for dual goosewaffle builds too.

A sad misuse of the chassis, but you could also mount a tag on the head mount and lurm from behind hills extremely effectively.

The ST's slots are not enough for a GR.

Really? I know it's slot constrained, but didn't think it was THAT slot constrained. What's in the ST's?

Only 5 crit slots on the STs. Dem Endo+Ferro+4JJs combo do need some space.

i just want to see if you can pack like 7 uac2's and ammo on the thing :D not effective but it'll be funny. I also wonder where the head ams for the B will be located. please tell me it doesn't mount to the hole. then we'd have a unicorn

The hole in the Head was an issue with the Jade Kite OmniPod specifically, which has been fixed since I captured that GIF. Running without an Energy weapon in that hardpoint (or using a Head OmniPod with no hardpoint) caps it.

You can see the fixed Head in this new image from the patch notes:

But but... The arms Posted Image They're too short lengthwise compared to the concept art and orthos, although the side view of the orthos doesn't show the arms.

Mmm, it's a taste, typically I despise stubby arms, but I think this looks better with stubbier ones. But either design looks good.
That said...Those LRMS..Beaut.

You know... Seeing all these new mechs with decent looking weapon geometry...
Then looking back at my Trebuchets, Centurions, etc...

Gosh...
I hope you guys decide to make another geometry pass on them.

Indeed, talk about sacraliege. those lrms :(. but with an above cockpit tag you can fire lrm's with tag bonus from almost total safety. As for the stubby arms, they are just long and fat/thick/tall/wide.... enough to totally cover the CT and most of the ST from the sides. it's BEAUTIFUL.

Those LRM mounts are beautiful. Wish I could stick more in the arms and torsos.
