It seems that PGI would want to make SHS be viable over the DHS. In light of the new ED heat sinks change, here's a take on it.

What if engines don't come with fixed internal heat sinks? They just come with slots, like an arm or a torso to a mech, there's a new window that allows you to fit in heat sinks. Inside this engine, Heatsinks have no tonnage or would use a different tonnage system, and you can put a combination of DHS and SHS instead.

Now the 10 Heat-sink requirement is removed, replaced with Heat-Capacity instead, that the combination of your Heatsink should have enough heat-capacity, as opposed of having a number of heat sinks altogether.

What are your thoughts? Would this be a good way to make SHS useful??
