This:

is my favourite assault brawler, a lot of fun to play.

Shame Energy Draw will **** it in the *** with no lube.

That's just too many small pulse lasers anyway

So, I've been reading and thinking about what everyone has said and giving some consideration to trying it. What do you think about the following:

Change RT to the B variant
Change LARM to the A variant
Remove the Targeting Computer

2 x cERPPC (RT/LT)
3 x cMPL (LARM)
7 x cDHS

Alternative, I could put a cLPL in each side torso.

Good? Bad? Could be better?

Thanks again.

The mech is always going to struggle with heat, don't pile it up with super hot weapons. If you want to go energy heavy, IMO standard laser vomit (2LPL and 4-6 MLs depending on your heat tolerance) is best. I run 2LPL/5ML/3Flamers (the flamers are really there to shim the MLs to the top of the 7E power fist which, oddly, really matters.

I will add links from MetaMechs

2 LRG PLS, 5 ER Med

2 LRG PLS, 4 ER Med

If you are insistent upon ER PPC sniping:

While you are trying to figure out the best way to pilot a niche Mech like the Executioner, it is best to not have to fight the build too. Like Terciel, I definitely recommend starting with standard laser vomit and branching out from there. Once you get comfortable with what the Executioner is good at, it has some mean pulse boat options.

I would not run 2 ERPPC's, they are just to hot..

I have enjoyed playing with 2 ERLL's + 1 ERPPC+ a pair of SRM's with a ton, in-case things get up close.. Though you could just add a bank of ERSL's instead. It is a fun mech, that actually does fairly well IMO. The SRM version, does run cooler, and puts out more damage up close. If you have issues with Lights, you can swap it to streaks, with a CAP.

I have also run a pair of LPL's, with 4 ERSL+dual Streak 6's, again for light duty. Like i said, it is not as much an assault, as it is a heavily armored heavy.

I have not tried a DUAL UAC5 build, and gauss, i am just not that great at, and it is just kinda heavy for this mech.

Another fun build are the ERSL/ERML or SPL boats with a UAC20.

You really need to mix builds on this mech IMO to make it really shine.

I do love my Executioners, ever since I got my EXE-C loyalty variant this my goto build for brawling.

C-UAC20 w 3 tons of ammo

5 C-SPL

and I just use MASC and JJ to my advantage in a fight.
