title kinda says it all.. I ran the event, and got my EXE, and tried it, but it just doesn't have the weight to run it well, kinda slow for the damage output, even though it runs cool. I know it is a nitch mech, and i have other builds i like with it.. But it got me thinking about what i could use to run it with?

Timber can do it with 3.5 tons, + 3 ERML's but i dunno, just doesn't seam right in a timby, besides i really love my timber set ups as is.. UAC20+5 SLP's, and dual LPL+3ERML's, and my missile+energy boat with machine guns just cause of lore.. :P

Summoner, can squeeze it, but you have to strip arm armor and still barely squeeze in 3.5 tons, with no back up weapons.

Hell bringer can, with stripping some armor, and carry 2 ERML's

I know the HBK-IIC, and kodiak can, But i don't wan't either.. I like my Clanners Omni style.

So am i just outta luck without picking up an origins or kodiak? Or did i miss something that can do it well?

Depends, do you have the Night Gyr on pre-order? Put the -B arms or ST pods onto one and then any other pods that have energy hard points onto the arms/ST/head and it might work.
Otherwise, my suggestions were going to be the Highlander IIC-C or the Orion IIC-C, neither of which are omnimechs

Come again? 3.5T of ammo is not enough for a dual UAC10 on any mech.

You can fit a lot more than that man! This is the build you should be running for a 2xUAC10 / 3ERML - Click ME - Or put the laser in the arm if you want ability to easy take down UAV's etc Posted Image

Long as you don't double tap the UAC10s at the same time, you barely build up heat and just use the ERML to finish off a target etc.

It works VERY well for me in FP, been a staple in my deck for ages.

Yeah that's a good one, only issue is you need to fully expose yourself to get the UAC10s doing some work.
Also try get some more heat armour, a decent shot with a dual PPC is going to make a mess of your day with that low armour :)

I used to skip head armour until gauss/PPC has made such a big comeback and I got heatshotted 3-4 games in a week lol.

You can essentially do my build on a EBJ as well. The TBR just runs a tad cooler really, only difference aside from the different EBJ profile.

My highest damage match so far was in a Direwolf with 2 UAC10s, 2 LPL and 4 ERML, everything in torsos. Does that count?

As far as EXEs go, LB20x, 2 ASRM6 and a few SPL could be fun. I saw 6 MPL and a hell of a lot of heatsinks working surprisingly well in an EU MWOWC game.

I can't recall from memory all the 'mechs I run with 2x UAC10 + energy loadouts, but this is the most recent and it's not terrible :P

I don't have enough mech bays and let alone enough C-Bills to know my favorite yet.
Currently, only just have a hunchback with Cuac 10, and Splazers, did have MpLazers, but switched to the smalls

Running build something like this Dakka Timby:

This with ermed instead of ersml?

Hunchie IIC does it very well.

Put em both in the same ST.
They are high mounted and have very good convergance.
Toss in a couple erMLs in the ct, and use the empty ST to shield.

TBR-PRIME, no JJ, Two UAC10, 3ERML, 5 and a half tons of ammo.

I think my best performing CW mech to date.

TOTALLY forgot about that mech.
WHK-A
or
WHK-A
could be viable?
Adjust streak numbers and UAC ammo as preferred, and/or drop the TC to free up more space for bullets

Honestly don't need that T.Comp V (I/II is enough), and if you're going to insist on carrying it and rely only on the UAC10s, you need to carry atleast 2 tons more ammo.

^ agreed. Anymore than a comp 2, wasting your time. Plus what is the laser there for?

If you must run missles then try this: 2UAC10 / 2SRM6A or if you must run streaks, use 4s as you need ammo.

This is the DAKKA WHK you want to run if you like crazy fast DPS/kills - UAC20/UAC10 (vary armour/comp/ammo to suit yourself). Some lovely gentlemen in KCom put me onto it and it dominates hard.

With the -30% jam chance, you can crank out double tap after double tap and it never gets hot. You can do ~1000 damage before running out of ammo, but as you jam far less often, you can absolutely STEAMROLL through mechs with it cause the DPS is insane.

Works really well. I found the SRM6/UAC10 build to be a bit lacklustre.

I run something very similar, just with 3 less small lasers and more ammo. The lasers are just there for show, pretty much, the dual UAC-10s are the main act.
I also stack the guns to one side, though that's just personal preference.

Dual UAC-10s might be my favorite Clan weapon loadout, though many of the mechs I put it on (Mad Dog, Huchie IIC) are just carrying them and all ammo. My Warhawk carries 3 SRM 4s on top, I like it quite a bit as well but I generally prefer the speed of the Mad Dog or the high mounts and jump jets of the Hunchie.

Yeah as I said, stacking the UACs is a personal preference. I'm with you, one side if better and shield with the other.

That said the 30 points of pin point from the ERSL is nothing to sneeze at either way. That's why I use ERML though, 21dmg at 400m. Finishes off what the UACs open up nicely :)
