The Centurion video you may have already seen is now on our youtube page - so go check it out! The following is a transcript of the video, for your textual as well as auditory enjoyment. So, here it is!

The Centurion is a humanoid, medium weight class, 50 ton 'Mech with a max speed of 64 kilometers an hour. It is the epitome of a balanced 'Mech. Good speed, good armour, excellent weapons load out. If you're unsure of which 'Mech best suits you, it is an excellent choice.

Boasting a well-rounded load out, the CN9-A variant sports 8.5 tons of armour, an Autocannon/10, LRM-10, and two Medium Lasers, making it a threat at all ranges.

Moving to the CN9-AH the 'Mech strips out the AC/10 for an AC/20, and removes the medium lasers allowing the pilot to weaken the enemy with LRM's at range, and use their AC/20 for a knockout punch.

The CN9-AL removes the AC/10 and adds a Large Laser and a Small Laser, six heat sinks and an additional 2.5 tons of armour. This variant is ammo independent and is great for brawling or quick skirmishes. With 11 tons of armour it can take a huge beating, and the mix of lasers allows damage to be done at all ranges.

Truly a solid, functional, and excellent 'Mech -- the Centurion will be a welcome choice for any pilot wanting a sturdy and effective ride.

They're obviously trying to copy the pony level from Diablo III, expect an awesomely colored map in the near future to go along with the laser.

Seems the pulse lasers are purple now, can't say I like the sound though, but those ACs and MGs sound awesome.

I was not sure if I wanted a Centurion before. But after seeing this, I think it is a must for my mech garage.

You can´t say it has good speed, armor or weapon load-out, but hey, that's a great video! I'm happy the Centurion is in.

Now where is the Battlemech 15??

It's the large laser, stop at around 0:20 and you see the weapon config of the enemy Centurion. He's got only one laser that he's firing, the purple one. LL

what i dont get is why if you promote the centurion as an ideal starter mech, we dont get it in the founders package...

Pretty sure the loadout readouts indicate yellow medium lasers and mace windu-purple large lasers. Check the bottom right for the POV mech's loadout and upper right for targetted enemy mech loadout. There have been concerns over colour blindness (predominantly affecting red-green differentation) being an issue, so this may be a colour blind-compatibility mode

But I prefer the yellow and purple and I want to run that all day every day Hopefully it will be as simple as a toggle in the game options

Red - SL, green - ML and purple - LL. Since MPL green too (in some video's Atlas mount these) - there is great chance whats pulses have same color as beam variant.

The centurion has never looked so good and never been this robust in any MW iteration. People who like to cast dispersions on it have forgotten how well its been recreated for MWO.

As for lasers, yes I still agree that the audio for lasers still sound like canned laser sounds from cartoons. MWO is still beta so PGI has time to address this in context with everything else they are doing.
